Open Educational Resources for the Inclusive Curriculum (ORIC)

September 2010 - August 2011

The ORIC project seeks to make high-quality material focused on inclusive teaching and learning, education for sustainable development (ESD), and digital literacy readily available across the higher education sector. The material presented here will be of primary use to educational developers but our hope is that it will prove to be a valuable resource to anyone who works in higher education with an interest in the above areas.

The content of the ORIC website (and associated spaces) has grown out of ongoing developments at the University of Bradford and the University of Salford including engagement with the HEA's Summit Programme, redevelopment of PGCert programmes, and the University of Bradford's highly successful Ecoversity project. Our aim is to aid in the creation of postgraduate certificate courses that are relevant to lecturers seeking to develop effective skills for teaching the 21st Century learner. The material here has been developed with special emphasis on meeting the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF). We hope that you find ORIC to be a useful resource.
